Mouse & RollerMouse
A mouse is the alpha and omega of using a computer – and has almost been from the day the computer was invented. Since then, however, a great deal has happened. In the old days, a mouse for computers had a ball that moved as the mouse moved, but today we primarily have optical mice that detect movements with an infrared technology. These optical mice are available both with and without wire – whether you are most into one or the other is probably a matter of taste. Some are most comfortable with the cord, as they don't have to have batteries in their mouse (and thus can't run out of power), while others are more focused on having a neat and tidy desktop where the wireless mouse fits best.
RollerMouse – the ergonomic mouse
In addition to the traditional mouse – both the wired and wireless version – there is also the ergonomic mouse; also known as RollerMouse. The RollerMouse is a tool that gives ergonomics a notch up compared to a traditional mouse. RollerMouse is actually a piece of hardware that is most often placed in close association with your keyboard, and it gives you about the same options as your laptop's touchpad; just on the desk. The RollerMouse you will find at Refurb are almost always new – its condition will be shown in the product.
Wireless or wired mouse?
When you need to select a mouse, one of the most crucial points is whether it should be wired or wireless. It depends on your personal preferences, so if you care a lot about the tidy desktop without wires, it's obviously the wireless mouse that should be the choice, while the wired mouse has the advantage, that it never runs out of power. At Refurb, we carry both wired and wireless mice, so there's something for everyone.
